A flavour of your role will inspire for Scottish Careers Week

Get ready, Ambassadors: Scottish Careers Week is back.

It's our chance to show the next generation what makes the food and drink industry a truly rewarding career destination where they can genuinely make a difference.

This year's Scotland-wide campaign, led by Skills Development Scotland (SDS), runs from Monday 10 to Friday 14 November.

The central theme is “Shape the Future”, and it aligns perfectly with our industry. From sustainability and net-zero goals to innovation in production, a career in food & drink is a hands-on opportunity to shape Scotland's economy and reputation.

Remind young people that in our sector:

  • You can make a difference, whether it's through sustainable sourcing or product innovation, the work matters.

  • It’s rewarding and they get to work with world-class produce and proud traditions.

  • There's a job for everyone. From farm to fork, chef to scientist, marketing to engineering - all skills are needed.

Remember, there’s lots of information and real-life inspiration in the Find Your Future in Food resource.
