Autumn–winter opportunities for 2025

As we head into the autumn term, schools and colleges are busy planning events to help young people explore their next steps and there are plenty of opportunities for Scottish Food & Drink Ambassadors to get involved

Through the STEM Ambassador Hub, you can connect directly with schools and youth groups across Scotland, from East Lothian to Ayrshire, to share your story and help students discover the range of careers within Scotland’s food and drink industry.

Even if an activity isn’t specifically about food and drink, your perspective helps young people see how science, business, sustainability and creativity all play a part in what we eat and how it’s made.

How to get involved

  • Visit the STEM Ambassador Hub

  • Go to the “browse activities” section

  • Use the search bar or filters (for example “careers”, “Ayrshire”, “subject choices”)

  • Click “express Interest” to take part
